Workshops

I love learning new skills and passing them on to others is great fun!

I teach a variety of workshops including traditional techniques such as rag rug making and paper pieced patchwork.

I also teach workshops at venues across Hampshire, including Aspex, Making Space, Make, Roots Shoots & Leaves and The Eternal Maker.

Rag Rugs
Tuesday the 4th of November, 7:30 to 9:30 pm
at Make & The Craft Kitchen

Rag rugs are so satisfying to make. Not only can you use up all your odd bits of fabric but you can enjoy the satisfaction of making a beautiful rug for your home – which feels super squishy under your toes! You will design and begin your rag rug using a latch hook and strips of fabric.

Rag Rug workshop

This workshop costs £38 and this includes a piece of canvas and a latch hook to take home and finish your project, lots of lovely scraps to choose from, a cuppa and homemade cake.

Hexagon Heaven
Tuesday the 11th of November, 7:30 to 9:30 pm
at Make & The Craft Kitchen

This is a beautiful hand stitched method of patchwork which allows you to piece together shapes which would be really tricky to attempt on a sewing machine. It is the perfect way to get started on patchwork and this class is suitable for all skill levels – no sewing experience necessary!
