Like a Teatray in the sky

Like a Teatray in the sky is a really wonderful vintage tearooms and contemporary store on Osbourne Road in Southsea. They serve over 35 different types of tea as well as Italian coffee and even the occasional jug of Pimms. All of the cakes are homebaked daily and the cupcakes are fast becoming famous.

All of this is served on beautiful crockery and in delicate china teacups.

The shop is just as lovely and is a treasure trove of artwork, from graffiti to bunny rabbits, monsters to embroidery, teacup candles to aprons.

Teatray is also the fantastic place where Tea & Cloth takes place the last Thursday of every month and where Buttons & Pearls hold their sewing workshops. Go on, have a cake.

Do they serve coffee in old fashion coffee pots with the long spouts?
Danis always wanting to buy one and I wonder if his obession will pass if he at least gets to use one.
PS if you ever need anymore white buttons for your tags I feel like I have like a gazillion. xxx

    • There are some lovely coffee pots and the coffee is amazing, but the spouts aren’t particularly long! Bring him in anyway and sample some lovely goodies. There were so many cakes on offer today I didn’t know what to do with myself!
