My heirloom quilt in August

This month I have been sewing lots more hexagons so that I can add them into my heirloom quilt.

So far my panels have been patterns and I was keen to stitch in some traditional flower shapes. Matt picked out some hexagons that he liked and I have stitched them together, ready to add to my quilt.

I like asking my family to help design small sections of this quilt, I really value their input. It has grown all of a sudden and now I’m choosing some new fabrics to add in. I will show you these soon, check back next month to see my progress!
