Tutorial : Wavy Blocks Knitted Facecloth

Today’s post will show you how to knit my third facecloth pattern of the week, Wavy Blocks. I love knitting facecloths, they are a great way of learning a new pattern and trying it out over a small number of stitches, but they also use up small amounts of cotton yarn and make very thoughtful, luxurious presents at the same time!

Knitted Facecloth PatternsThe Wavy Blocks pattern has a lovely criss cross grid effect. Depending on your tension, this facecloth should knit up to be approximately 6 inches square. My facecloths used 15-20 grams of wool each.

Wavy Blocks Knitted FaceclothThis facecloth is knitted on size 4mm needles and using double knit wool. I used a cotton yarn because it washes well and is soft to wash your face with. If you knit this pattern using a paler wool the design will be more subtle, or if you want it to be bolder, choose a darker yarn.

Love your tutorials. May the facecloth patterns be used to create items for resale with credit to you for the pattern?
